Someone Finally Tells LeAnn Rimes To Eat

A little unrelated but I wanted opinions --

It was only a matter of time. Some concerned fan had to come to the rescue sooner or later. But from the looks of LeAnn Rimes Twitter it was definitely later. The seriously skinny 28-year-old country star tweeted earlier this week how she was scolded for not eating, while in a restaurant and in mid meal at that. Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian were at Chicago's lounge bar Double A enjoying a rather wonderful meal when a fan came by their table and told Rimes, a matter of factly, that she needed to eat something. No word on what Rimes reaction was at that moment, whether she stuffed a dinner roll in her mouth looked the person right I the eyes and made nom nom noises or remarked that she preferred the liquid diet while cocking her eyebrows and sipping on some wine. But moments later she shared a reflection reaction on Twitter, tweeting: "How dare someone come to me at a table w/ the boys and tell me I need to eat something. What is wrong with people!? As I’m stuffing my face… have another drink and maybe take a class in manners! Cheers!"

  1. I've seen people a lot thinner than she appears in this photo. This photo does not show ribs or sunken hollows at her collar bone. But then they say a camera adds 10 pounds.

As to someone coming up to her and offering their unsolicited opinion: that person was a self serving idiot. I wonder how they would have appreciated someone going up to them while they were with their family and saying something like "for the sake of God, cover your face, it's offensive.

  2. I felt really bad for her when this happened! Not eating is as much of a mental and emotional problem as eating too much. I would feel TERRIBLE if someone came up to me in the middle of my dinner and said that I should stop eating. LeAnn Rimes has to deal with her own battles, and no one should just force his/her opinion on the woman.

  3. Couldn't have said it better. Although I think she allowed herself to get to thin for her body structure I think it could be worse and she's still healthy so who am I to say anything.

I know celebrities get extra bull said to them and what not but I couldn't imagine of someone said something like that to me. Weight loss is a battle on both sides. Being too big or being too small both bring more negative attention then deserved or warranted. But you're so right, it's a mental battle just as much as it is a physical one and things like this really get to me.

I've been kind of watching this story since those photos of her on the beach came out. I really like Leanne and I've always liked how she represented the curvy girls. So these photos made me cringe. But they could be worse. I could never be a celebrity and have my life be so public. Ever.
